Express Entry:

Express Entry is an electronic process that is used to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) select candidates under of these four programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program

Federal Skilled Trades Program

Canadian Experience Class

a portion of the Provincial Nominee Program

If you qualify under one of these programs, you may enter the Express Entry pool. Therefore, you must make sure you qualify under a program that is suitable for you.

Once you are qualified and eligible to enter Canada, you must create an online Express Entry profile. By doing so, you show interest in immigrating to Canada. You will need to provide information about your skills, education, work experience, language ability, and other personal information.

Those who meet the needed criteria will be placed in a pool of candidates. They will be ranked according to a Comprehensive Ranking System. In order to enter Canada, you will need a job offer from a Canadian employer. If you don’t have one, feel free to register with Canada’s Job Bank, which may improve your visibility to Canadian employers.

How do I increase my points?

Increasing your Comprehensive Ranking System points will improve your chances of being eligible to immigrate to Canada. So, how do you make sure you get the most points possible?

Receive your Invitation to Apply and take the final step

IRCC will accept the candidates with the best chances to attribute economically to Canada. This means that those with the best CRS scores are far more likely to be accepted. If IRCC invites you to apply for permanent residence, you will receive an important message, notifying you of:

- what to do next

Now, you will have 90 days to submit your application electronically for your permanent residence. IRCC aims strongly to make sure you get your PR within 6 months.

Make sure you complete all the necessary forms, documents, and supporting proofs. Once the process is completed, you will receive your Permanent Residency.
